The Story od Angel Island
From 1910 to 1940, tens of thousands of immigrants entered the U.S.through the West Coast's Angel
Island Immigration Station (the equivalent of Ellis Island on the East Coast). Located in
San Francisco's north bay, the buildings were nearly forgotten until a California State Park Ranger
re-discovered them in 1970. |
