ROUND IRELAND WITH A FRIDGE by Tony Hawks (hier online bestellen)
The story:
"I hereby bet Tony Hawks the sum of one hundred pounds that he cannt hitch hike around the circumference of
Ireland with a fridge, within one calender month".
A foolhardy attempt to win a drunken bet led to me having one of the best experiences of my life. Joined by a
trusty travelling companion-cum-domestic appliance I found myself in the midst of a remarkable, inspirational
and at times, down right silly adventure.
In our month of madness me and my fridge surfed together, entered a bachelor festival, and one of us had sex
without the other knowing. The fridge got christened and we even met The Poorest King On Earth.
Yes true life can be weirder than fiction…and ‘Round Ireland with a Fridge’ is currently in development to
become a feature film. Click here to find out more.
About the author:
Tony Hawks is the author of the bestseller Round Ireland with a Fridge - the story of his absurd quest to hitch
round the circumference of Ireland within a month... with a fridge. The book became a top 10 Sunday Times
bestseller in 1998, was serialised on BBC Radio 4, and led to a six month TV advertising campaign for HARP
Irish Lager. It has now sold over 500,000 copies worldwide including the US and Australia, and has been

His second book Playing the Moldovans at Tennis, published in trade paperback by Ebury Press has now sold

Prize (2000) for non-fiction writing and the Bollinger Everyman Wodehouse Prize (2000).

The Houseware Awards, The Beauty Awards and The Packaging Awards, with many of the satisfied clients having
